He cooked excellent European food at Passcode’s restaurants but his real success came with the hugely ambitious Jamun, which tries to authentically recreate dishes from every corner of India. After establishing the Delhi Jamun, Picu moved to Goa and opened another Jamun there which is even better than the Delhi original.

He has been featured on national television in India such as Discovery Channel, Sahara Samay, Raja Rasoi and Anya Kahaniya on Netflix (season 1, episode 5). Zahir’s cooking techniques are modern but has the traditional influence seen in every Indian household.

Sadaf is a TEDx speaker, has food shows online and runs the popular food blog www.foodandstreets.com. He believes that everything and everyone has a story to tell, and lives to uncover those stories.
